She has a strong background in offering intensive in-home services, and addressing challenges such as self-harm, anxiety, depression, and parent-child struggles. At present, Thea is working as a mobile crisis response counselor with a focus on delivering immediate crisis stabilization services.
EDUCATION: Thea has an AAS in social services from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, a bachelor’s in human services degree from Lees McRae College, and Master of Social Work from Salisbury University.
