Tasha is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over four years of comprehensive clinical experience. She is passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples overcome the stressors and adversities that hide, for a time, one’s path to peace and fulfillment.
She believes healing is about letting go of everything that is not you – releasing expectations, redrafting false beliefs – and becoming who you are. She draws from a variety of treatment modalities to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. A key component to Tasha’s practice is developing a collaborative, compassionate, authentic, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with clients. She is a warm, open, encouraging, realistic, and direct therapist who combines experience, creativity, and a sense of humor to the therapeutic process.
Tasha received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College. She then received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She previously served as a clinician and Clinical Director for a private organization that provided services to low-income individuals and families. She currently holds an LCPC in Maryland and an LPC in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
