Aneata is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience providing intervention and treatment to abused children in the child welfare system, family homelessness and mental health services. In addition to working individually with families, children, individuals and couples, she has worked as an administrator at social services agencies focusing on programs that assist clients in obtaining the best possible and needed care with compassion and dedication. Aneata has a special interest in helping families and individuals develop and obtain self-actualization and a solid sense of their value as human beings.
Aneata received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and a Bachelors degree in Social Work at George Mason University. She has been licensed since 1996 in Virginia and currently holds licenses in Virginia, DC and California. Aneata is from the Northern Virginia area but spent the past 15 years in the San Francisco Bay area. Aneata began her career working with severely abused children and practiced in Fairfax County and San Francisco. She continued working with homeless families and victims of domestic violence in Fairfax County and San Francisco, but spent the majority of her time in San Francisco providing clinical services to the severely mentally ill. Aneata has been a field instructor for George Mason University, Howard University, Catholic University and the University of Southern California (Hayward).
