SPECIALTIES: grief & bereavement, trauma- long term and acute, living with medical conditions chronic and acute, relational issues, conflict resolution, military-specific challenges, anxiety and depression.

MODALITIES: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, strengths based therapy, and solution focused therapy.

Alisia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Diplomate and a Certified Trauma Specialist with over 20 Years of Professional Experience working for medical and military systems with individuals, families and groups ranging from children to geriatrics providing supportive clinical therapy, and resources, through life stressors, grief and bereavement.

Alisia received her Bachelors in Social Work from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Currently, Alisia is obtaining her Doctoral Degree from the University of Louisville.

Alisia is approved through the Virginia Social Work Board to provide clinical supervision to Master Level Social Workers seeking hours for their LCSW.
